why i don't bother with msm

glenn greenwald- the anthrax story

"Two prominent journalism professors -- Jay Rosen of NYU and Dan Gillmor at the Center for Citizen Media, affiliated with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication at Arizona State University and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University Law School -- have added their names to the list of people calling on ABC News and Brian Ross to reveal their sources for ABC's false bentonite story that was used to link the anthrax attacks to Iraq. Rosen and Gillmor both write that ABC and Ross should answer three questions which they jointly outline, and they both set forth the reasons, grounded in widely accepted principles of journalistic ethics, as to why ABC and Ross should do so."

making news up is par for the course for the media- and the bush admin.

Not only is making news up par for the course for the MSM and Bu$hCo, it is big business, that, and the fact that the public swallows the hook every time, leaves stories such as the "anthrax" debacle unchallenged. More unchallenged stories- 9-11, WMD, mushroom cloud, phone tapping, DOJ firings and hirings, chemical weapons UN speech, al Qaeda in Iraq, Pat Tillman, benazir bhutto assassination, Plame outing, Rove, billions missing in Iraq, abu ghraib, the bin Ladens, Bush, MSM, 2000 election, terror alert manipulations, habeas corpus, extraordinary rendition, gitmo....

Gee I never even heard that about Iraq! I guess I just automatically focused on us! That pisses me off and you know the complicit MSM was doing Bush's bidding. That is routine BS and pisses me off!
The Government knew from the outset the Anthrax was ours. It was no coincidence Democrats and average Americans were targeted and the attacks were used to push through the Patriot Act so Bush could do what he wants.
It is another manufactured coincidence that the dedicated harangued, book worm loner and 36 year creator of the antidote suddenly commits suicide. My ass! We are living a total lie and that was the latest. This is over as far as the Government is concerned I bet.

'Protecting their sources' is a steaming pile of BS. Why would a Journalist, or anyone else for that matter, want to protect someone who is feeding you lies and propoganda? Are they worried that they won't get fed anymore falsehoods and propodanda?

What really sets my *ss on fire, is that they insult my intelligence by assuming that I would believe it.

I am all for protecting the identities of legitimate sources, but purveyors of proven, out-right lies do not fall into that category.

AAAAAARRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!
