getting around the entrenched legislature

here in new york- see, these folks thought that they were so smart getting rid of eliot spitzer :) that's why it is so very important to keep an eye out for the second in command (as we have learned from the cheney/bush years)- oh and no pun intended for gov. paterson.

I figured I would see a post on this on your site today. It's a great day for New Yorkers. But I just read an article about the opposition.

I don't understand why they continue to fight equality. I did a long post at my place on my thoughts.

I will be back in NYC in June and can't wait. Have a great weekend, b.

The same-sex marriage issue aside; the problem I see with this, as you pointed out with Bush/Cheney, is this growing acceptance of a Unitary Executive. This is nothing short of an end-run against the NY Legislature and the citizenry.
