RADDATZ: Well, let's talk about this: You're supporting John McCain.
THE VICE PRESIDENT: Correct.
RADDATZ: Would you campaign for John McCain?
THE VICE PRESIDENT: John will be, I think, the nominee of our party, and I'll do everything I can to help him.
(i'm guessing that's a tall order after this:)
"When McCain made a foreign policy gaffe in Jordan on Tuesday, it was Sen. Joe Lieberman who quietly pointed out the mistake, giving McCain an opportunity to correct himself in front of the international press corps. In Israel yesterday, NBC’s Lauren Appelbaum reports, Lieberman once again intervened when McCain made an incorrect reference about the Jewish holiday Purim -- by calling the holiday "their version of Halloween here." article here

CHENEY: On the security front, I think there's a general consensus that we've made major progress, that the surge has worked. That's been a major success.
RADDATZ: Two-third of Americans say it's not worth fighting.
CHENEY: So?
RADDATZ: So? You don't care what the American people think?
CHENEY: No. I think you cannot be blown off course by the fluctuations in the public opinion polls.watch video here- (and pay careful attention to the smirk)

The Big Dick Cheney has never hid his contempt for the American public. He thinks we are all idiots that should just stfu and work to make him richer.
As for Weathervane McCain..does Alzheimer's run in his family? ;p
This so called mistake was uttered on at least 4 separate occasions, and once yesterday in a written statement.
No slip of the forked tongue, but a setup for war with Iraq.
