is- that when 9/11 happened, only the leaders of congress were taken away to a safe location. no one else had an evacuation plan. the other thing i found particularly revealing is that the republican leaders in the last 2 congresses stonewalled and didn't want to put a plan in place- ironically because they didn't want to entertain the idea of a constitutional amendment. then i found out the real reason. in the house, rep's seats cannot be refilled by appointment. they can only be filled by special election. if a catastrophe occurs- like the potential for much of the house to be wiped out- america would be under a kind of martial law until elections were held. huh.
know what else i find interesting? 15 out of the 19 hijackers involved in 9/11 were saudis- and the saudi arabian government recently threatened america- you pull out or attack the sunnis in iraq- we are going to go and back the sunnis. i guess i am wondering what kind of hold that the saudis have over us- besides the usual suspect- oil. it makes me start to wonder if 9/11 was orchestrated by al quaida at all.

the king "read the riot act" to the vice president when the two met last month in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
(From your last link)
First off, at least the King knew enough to speak to Bush's brain. Secondly, S.A. has long been the Bush family summer home, thirdly, for all our bow wow about "the war on terror", Saudia Arabia has never been punished in any manner for their contribution.
The hold they have on us started by just being thick and greasy. Then we worked ourselves so far in debt trying to pay for the stuff, that the hold now is our debt.....plus thick and greasy. If every foreign country called in the I.O.U.'s of ours that they hold, the THUMP!! you would hear would be our entire nation falling on it's bankrupt ass.
Or...it can be looked at this way: We paid them to ensure our bankruptcy.
yes ... I tell myself it's paranoid to think this administration would orchestrate an attack like that SO THAT we could go under martial law, but actually, I think it is delusional of me not to give them credit for being that corrupt.
