medical marijuana and organ transplants don't mix

meanwhile, folks are dying. these folks are taking marijuana BECAUSE they are ill. perhaps these stupes would consider the fact that these folks wouldn't have to take it AFTER they had a transplant and recovered. hmmm........

Medical marijuana helps relieve the pressure from glaucoma. It relieves the nausea associated with chemo therapy. I've not heard of its use with organ transplants, but jeezlouise, if it works, what is the issue?

the issue is that they are being denied transplants because they use marijuana. my thing is- if they had the transplant- they wouldn't need the marijuana any more. this is just another case of 'good christian' business ethics getting in the way of medicine. to me, it ranks up there with refusing to fill contraceptive prescriptions. only with deadlier consequences.
I heard of a lot of people that use it for various diseases and it works. Montel openly says he uses it for MS. This mis-Administration doesn't care if lives can be saved by using instead of killing stem cells or if Pot can alleviate your sickness. What they say is all that matters. I will never fathom impressing you beliefs on another. That is not Christian. It is Republican!
What a shame. Maybe BushCo could try spreading democracy to America.
Do there is NO medical reason for it...
do they ask were you on Chemo ?
( which does effect some organs)
do they ask about alcohol ?
( no...which does cause some real damage)
do they ask about smoking?
( no,...which causes some real damage)
etc etc...
this is about being able to judge or moral medical mismanagement...
the odd thing is- medical marajuana does work...and work well for so many people....glaucoma to MS to AIDS and cancer and chemo....it is medicinal....
( as an old nurse if one trys to speak up one is called a pothead etc...which shows how judgemental it is out there....)
