NOT MUCH, BUT ALL MINE: WTF!?!?!?.....
"Last week, 3,000 evangelical Christian worshippers and preachers from around the United States visited Israel in a trip celebrating 60 years of independence. Evangelicals visit for Israel's 60th, call the sound of the mosque 'evil'
and, yes, i do take it personally
"The fact is that Bush invaded Iraq with the intent of turning Iraq into an American colony. The so-called government of Maliki is not a government. Maliki is the well paid front man for U.S. colonial rule. Maliki's government does not exist outside the protected Green Zone, the headquarters of the American occupation."
and finally,
turkey plans to sell rivers and lakes to... corporations

You are right in your post! I just watched that video. That is pretty screwed up. I have been a Christian since birth and I am almost ashamed. i don't care if you are Religious or not you treat everyone the same. We are all equal!
When I was in Brunei, we were visiting a Mosque - it was quite elegant, beautiful, richly appointed - and in line behind me were several Christians who complained bitterly about the display of wealth in the Mosque. "How dare they spend all this money on their Mosque, while the people are so poor?" was the main complaint.
So I turned on them and said, "It is no different than the Catholic Church - the Vatican is the richest city in the world, with the greatest collection of artwork. It is no different than the mega-churches of various Christian sects. It is no different than affluent synagogues. Why do you, how can you, accept it in those religions but decry this display in a Mosque?"
So, by this time, they were staring at me, dumbfounded. There were six of them, off my cruise ship, and they just started muttering and looking at each other. I pulled myself up to my full 5'4" self and said, "Oh, of course. They're A-rabs. Towel heads. Turrists." and turned on my heel and walked away before I slapped one of them.
Unfrickingbelievable. What assholes.
i am proud to consider myself your friend.
