i have to say- not a big fan of his singing- but his songwriting rocks! from farm aid to peace in our time to biodiesels- willie is standing up for what he believes in. he stood with dennis k. in tex-ass over the loyalty oath crap- and most recently, he is out there calling for impeachment. why?"Well, when you break the law, something is supposed to happen to you. I agree. His songwriting abilities are superb, as well as his qualities as a guitarist. His first major hit was 'Crazy', sung by Patsy Cline in 1961. Nelson has stated that Crazy is his all-time favorite song performed by another artist. He calls it 'magical'.
