not much to say these days

i really haven't had much to say these days because i don't really know what to say. we are continuing to do what we can to fight against the totalitarian regime that is attempting to take our republic away and hopefully we are working to change our lifestyles to combat climate change. i know that i am very sad if this is shades of what is going to be from now on. we here in new york- and i imagine across the globe- are running 20 degrees above normal for this time of year. it is hot and humid and miserable and has been so since july. we in the northeast are not used to humid and swampy and it makes us a bit cranky. so i guess my plea would be- if you aren't feeling particularly political- and frankly, i am beginning to care less about the pseudo-fascist takeover- then devote yourself to combating global climate change. if you change your lifestyle, and encourage folks in your life to do so- hopefully it will have a ripple effect. so- i will be sweltering again today looking for relief and taking stock of where i can change what. if and when the weather gets to be more seasonable- i will give you a compost update. and pictures :)
