monday morning

i will get around to my usual drivel at some point- but i wanted to take an opportunity to thank blue gal and her posse for getting the 'blog against theocracy' started and making it a success. most folks who stop by here get a regular dose of 'betmo against theocracy' quite a bit but it was interesting and exciting to me to be opened up to so many opinions- and well written too!

if you missed out on getting around to everyone- blue gal is probably still updating the links here- and you can check out the folks who stopped by the journey too here. take a tool around the first freedom first site too. those folks do quite a bit to protect constitutional rights for everyone- not just on the issue of separation of church and state. big thanks to everyone who stopped by here too. i have a lot more new folks to read now!

That was fun, wasn't it. I didn't get a chance to comment on all as I had a busy day with the homeless party. I will say, everyone that I read did a great job.

The blogswarm was an amazing venture. Plus it was a great way to meet other bloggers, and see what other people are thinking and saying about it.

Not one said "Do away with religion." Not one blog was at war with Christianity (or any other religion.) But everyone said in one way or another HONOR THE BILL OF RIGHTS AND KEEP CHURCH AND STATE AS SEPARATE ENTITIES.

The religious fundamentalists who demand that everyone think and worship as they do seem to be missing the point, I'm just saying.

That was the beauty of this exercise, no one acted fanatical, and all were inclusive!

That's what scares those that would rather have people dumbed down with stories such as ANS or what's that show, american idol?

It was well received and more people joined in than I ever would have imagined.

Let's do it again, soon. ; )
