forgive me but....
is homeland security useless? regarding the mystery odor in new york city today- the talking heads are "confident" that the odor is harmless- but don't know what it is or where it is coming from. uh huh. they are "confident" at this time that it is not terrorism- but how can they know that if they don't know what it is or where it is coming from? '... support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic...'

Probably just the stinch of smog being held down with all the heavy clouds in the area. New York smells, there's a thing at the port of miami that is registering positive for explosives and there's a chemical leak in Sugarland Texas. Since 9-11 all things strange try to get attached to terrorist. Most aren't but the tv people try to make it appear that way.
Um....it was born worthless and got worse, I think. I really don't think they could find Lassie in a Cat Show.

And, Austin Texas was plagued with dead birds. The area was cordoned off, but no one knows what happened. It's been a weird day. I think Homeland Security is about as useless as a dead parrot. Remember the dead parrot routine on Monty Python?
i really believe that dohs only exists to consolidate everything under the executive branch. that's it.
Most definitely useless, it's just the next form of pork barrel spending.
Its useless. Useless and another way to suck money away from places that desperately need it.
