constitution monday

i wanted to do something different on mondays. i figured i could put something else in this spot. i have had a change of heart- because now, more than ever, i feel that we americans need to know our constitution. especially the impeachment parts. so read it over again and again and commit it to memory. someday i may not have the first amendment on my side.

the constitution of the united states of america

Your mom taught you well, betmo. And I believe you will have the First Amendment. The country will get back on track and the first 8 years of the New Millennium will eventually be seen as a wild abberation.

Is it just me, or has anyone else realised that the american constitution was written without the participation of not even one one single female.
No married ones either, no persons of colour, no gays, no sick or crippled people, no mentally ill, no poor people, in fact the whole thing was laid out by rich white males, most of whom were also freemasons.
Ah well, after the next revolution, maybe the thing could do with a checking over

true- but for now- it is what we have to work with. i believe it will take another revolution and possible dissolution of the country to settle things. there is too great a divide between the ideologies- and frankly, there is a large segment of the population who wants to be free.
