Iraq has been in one "new" phase or another since Bush got there. And it's just not Jordan warning of widespread conflict.
If we stayed there another fifty years, when we left, religious cults would again start fighting for control. What in the hell is so hard to understand about that, for people?
Don't know what happened, but I had to redo your RSS feed as nothing was showing for too long. I was about to send out the resuce dogs when I popped over manually. Here you have been putting out great posts all this time. Maybe blogger, dunno. Anyway - Cheers to you and Boos to Bush.

This, of course, is not surprising. However, it is extremely upsetting none the less.
On a related note, I heard on NPR that Britian is announcing its plans to withdraw its troops by the end of next year.
A new phase of chaos and disaster? How comforting.
A new phase? Like it's the moon, or something?
"A new phase" Oh I do so love governmental euphemisms. I presume the new phase is FUBAR as opposed to SNAFU?
Apparently the Shrub's had his "people" talk to the media and is demanding that they STOP USING THE WORDS CIVIL WAR with regard to Iraq.
It upsets him.
:p
isn't that all sorts of- TOO FUCKING BAD!!!!!!!!!!!
