i realize no one wants to think about the christmas season this early- but i wanted to highlight an organization that helps disadvantaged kids have a nice one. the marine's toys for tots foundation was started in 1947 and has been helping kids ever since. this year, dr. phil mcgraw and his wife robin, have been named spokespersons for 2006. dr. phil wanted to get involved and help the marines because there are so many in iraq- they don't have the man and women power to collect toys as in years past. to find local information about donating new toys go to:

I remember when I was active duty doing Operation Santa every year. Felt good.
