day of the dead- and of the living
today is the day many mexican folks celebrate the lives of their dead loved ones. while festivities take place, the living go on trying to make changes in their government. these folks have staying power and fortitude. and they have one thing that americans lack- solidarity. rock on mexico!

Day of the Dead is quite prevalent where I live...and now with Mexico and Oaxaca in more turmoil than in a long time...we need to start casting our eyes on that border...big trouble ahead all along the border.
Solidarity forever!
If the US refuses to have it, perhaps we can make common cause with like minded persons across borders - sort of like the anti-NAFTA. ;-)
