I voted early, yesterday, using a touch screen machine. I will be out of the country on election day, so I went to vote early.

There were 8 machines. Of them, 4 were not working. It took each voter about 30 minutes to vote, so on election day lines will be long, and people will become impatient and leave. The machines print a paper tab which is stored in the machine, and you can look at it as it prints out - if it is correct, you cast your vote and it stores. I somehow feel nervous but I voted.

Good poster Betmo. I hope for the world's sake that the Democrats are better for the USA.

It's the scorched earth "elections" that bother me the most.

Hi betmo,
thought I'd have a look
and leave a quick hi! just for you

The race is not always to the swift, said thetortoise to the hare
It is just that hares would like to have us believe, or try to fool us into thinking it is ....

The hare ran & ran and died
eighty years later the tortoise
went slowly by the hares headtone
and left a few flowers next to RIP

Even if one is assured of a Local Victory, divajood's story is another reinforcement that we need a big turnout.

Peace.

That should read "Are you tired of a failed ____________ policy?" What on earth have the neocons been successful at?
