AMAZING, inspiring poster!
I voted early, yesterday, using a touch screen machine. I will be out of the country on election day, so I went to vote early. There were 8 machines. Of them, 4 were not working. It took each voter about 30 minutes to vote, so on election day lines will be long, and people will become impatient and leave. The machines print a paper tab which is stored in the machine, and you can look at it as it prints out - if it is correct, you cast your vote and it stores. I somehow feel nervous but I voted.
glenda- from thepeacetrain.org made the posters. i tried to link to her but blogger wasn't cooperating this morning.
Good poster Betmo. I hope for the world's sake that the Democrats are better for the USA.
It's the scorched earth "elections" that bother me the most.
Hi betmo, thought I'd have a lookand leave a quick hi! just for youThe race is not always to the swift, said thetortoise to the hareIt is just that hares would like to have us believe, or try to fool us into thinking it is ....The hare ran & ran and diedeighty years later the tortoisewent slowly by the hares headtoneand left a few flowers next to RIP
hi betmoIf I had a long beard and scraggly hair I would make a sign that read "The End is Near" and carry it to the polling place.Maybe I will anyway. Thanx for being you.
Even if one is assured of a Local Victory, divajood's story is another reinforcement that we need a big turnout.Peace.
I have admire this graphic at the peacetrain.org. It's one of my favorites. Glenda is so talented.
That should read "Are you tired of a failed ____________ policy?" What on earth have the neocons been successful at?
