Ahhhhaa! Well done. This is one topic we have to push as it's something that mom and pop voters will turn on. Plus it's horrid and illegal and scary.

betmo, I see you saw my post. I did two in a row. That is how angry I am.

Family values my ass. Wow, I must be angry. That is the first time I used a bad word in your blog.

The GOP is NOT the family values party. Yeah, foley is one man, but at least 3 guys including Hastert knew and either forgot or did nothing.

Much more important for them to hold on to that seat than to see justice done.

They are more concerned about two men marrying than the death and destruction in Iraq.

They are more concerned about squeezing out every last tax cut they can for the wealthy while they still rule than helping those who really need help.

They are more concerned about a baby before it is born than after.

They just make me sick.

And what makes me even sicker (if that is grammatically possible) is that there are STILL people out there supporting and defending them.

I honestly feel physically sick about all this. Not just Foley, but all of it--Iraq, the tax breaks, Foley, education cuts, surveillance, detainees.

Maybe you are right. Maybe we are just too far gone.

I may just have to marry a (mainland) European and move. They are a civilized society over there and they do permit it.

Sorry to drag on for so long. All you did was post a graphic....=)

Why do I find this slightly offensive? It's the closet Republican in me coming out, I guess..once again..help!!!!!!

no- i think perhaps that you find it offensive- because it is. this cartoon may be offensive but so is the ridiculous hypocrisy and outright illegality that is the republican party. i don't feel that they represent me in any fashion. i tend to look at pedophiles, liers, and what not with a dim view.

I just don't want to sterotype Republicans as pedophiles...that's my point, I guess.
