Interesting post.

Seems that the MSM play the numbers game. As there are many more deaths in Iraq they give it (more than) proportional coverage.

As Australia's Coalition effort is spread more evenly (1,000 in Iraq, 500 in Afghanistan) we get more balanced coverage of the Afghan situation.

2,500 dead so far....and our press gives us updates on gay marriage and the "border problem." TV as it exists is worse than worthless: it is truly dangerous.

ua- that is why we have to keep focused on the 'real' issues. we know what they are but prefer to be distracted by the media and the regime.

Afghanistan...the REAL reason why we're over there. Iraq...that is a horse of a different color. I think that might be why there is so much more coverage on Iraq...the debate on why we invaded the country and if we should have done so.
