guess she has a mouth like her dad. apparently, her knickers are in a knot because people noticed that she is a lesbian- thanks largely to john kerry and john edwards- as well as the book she is promoting. until the election of 2004, she was the republican party's best kept secret- because as we all know- real people aren't gay. especially the offspring of real manly men who tote guns and shoot them. well, i guess that she has alot to be upset about these days- what with the all of the gay marriage bans taking place across the country and the pope entering the fray. john kerry isn't taking it lying down either- he suggests she talk to her dad about the current atmosphere of bigotry towards gays in this country(i am paraphrasing of course). other bloggers offer their view on the situation: bill robinson.
not to fear for mary, she may soon have a good excuse to be gay- and not have to try so hard to 'overcome' to blend in with the conservatives- scientists have discovered a biological link to homosexual behavior in the brain. maybe they'll find a genetic link to conservatism too. at least that way, maybe we can work on a cure.
