i hate flip flops worse than sandals

is anyone else sick of apologists? you know those folks who are trying to appeal to as broad an audience as possible to get elected or re-elected? you know like the recent love fest between john mccain and jerry falwell and hillary apologizing for stating that kids today feel entitled to the whole enchilada of life before having earned it? say what you believe in and mean it. you will never appeal to everyone all of the time- and if not enough people like what you stand for in a democracy- then suck it up and deal. it isn't your right as a person to be elected just because you want it. run on what you believe that you can add to the country or help it progress- if the majority of people are ignorant low lives who are also hedonists- then so be it.
