instead of auld lang syne

a little ditty i found on the youtube using the google :) happy new year

mother earth and father time

How very special are we
For just a moment to be
Part of life’s eternal rhyme
How very special are we
To have on our family tree
Mother Earth and Father Time

He turns the seasons around
And so she changes her gown
But they always look in their prime
They go on dancing their dance
Of every lasting romance
Mother Earth and Father Time

The summer larks return to sing
Oh what a gift they give
Then autumn days grow short and cold
Oh what a joy to live

How very special are we
For just a moment to be
Part of life’s eternal rhyme
How very special are we
To have on our family tree
Mother Earth and Father Time

Hope 2009 is kind to you, Betmo. The years isn't shaping up too well give the economic crisis and Gaza but, we have to do our best to change things, people like you and me. Can't help ourselves!

Cheers.

I like the ditty but suggest that singer be relegated to carrying slop buckets because she sure as hell can't carry a tune!! AARGH!!
