mr. betmo and i got really lucky. we are so very happy in our new digs- and the cats have settled in nicely. i have been taking a few pics here and there and will post some periodically- don't want to overdo it ;) there is a nice big yard for gardening, rain barrels- and probably an above ground cistern at some point. i was thrilled to see one family in the neighborhood has solar panels- i hope to have some alternative energy going here in the near future also. all good things... for now, we are learning the quirks of an older house (it's only a year older than me :) and settling and changing a few things.
i still have the apartment yard to contend with- and we have to paint this summer- not happy about that but hey- you have to do it. things to do and a garden at the fam's also- and lord knows we will be canning tomatoes until i never want to see another one. :) happy summer folks. don't forget to plant your garlic in the fall.
