that the gop is funding nader again. if you vote for nader- you're stupid. bottom line. there can't be any niceties because our election system is broken as it is. perhaps someday we can revamp our system into a coalition style government that includes third parties and whatnot- this isn't the year.

Doesn't sound too stupid to me...Do you really the think that the Republican lite party (dems) will ever take up these issues? Then why support a candidate that doesn't support you?

They will take up these issues if there is an historic presidency this yr. Fine split the vote. I too feel this empire is failing I fully get the failing empire..the ONE business party but for the love of people who live under these policies and corruption ..we have to try to give a dude a mandate that will LIFT ALL BOATS or try to. Read the platforms. People are energized. Look like it or not and many of us don't - things only really change slowly BUT they do change. Our society is due to have the pendulum swing back towards the left - Face it , there is not gonna be a revolution there are not enough people to vote for nader, AND would NADER be the savior - i respectfully say FUCK NO ! - the fundi's are gonna vote. It would really freakin great if our electoral policies allowed a popular vote vs and electoral college. BUT IT DOESN"T at this point in time..So yeah we can indulge our consciences and feel like we are striking a blow for change...BUT are WE given the political realities. Come on please. I adore the green platform as a movement I was a registered green BUT reality check - the party is in shambles..wrong or right ITS NOT VIABLE YET. so please think long and hard not just about your personal values.but about the people who just may benefit for our first African American President..doesn't that stir your liberal progressive heart a little bit ? Our politics have been corrupt since the min the europeans set foot on turtle island..A vote for Nader this yr is not gonna change that. A vote for Obama is not gonna change that either. But simply spoiling or voting one's conscience without taking into account where things are really at - is just sad. You may go home feeling better..but i urge u think of more than just yourself.
If they take up those issues I will vote for them...I wait with bated breath....
plus if the dems can't beat MaCain even with Nader hanging on than we are in worse trouble than we thought.
final thought Nader is not in this race to win, he is running to expose the weakness in the democratic party, consider it exposed....
It is never too early or too late for revolution. Follow the money trail and find the source of power.
