is it me?

yeah. it probably is. am i the only one who thinks it's incredible that people in this country are eating up the pre-packaged, pre-paid candidates like they were candy? i think it's great that huckster and obama 'won' iowa. it just shows that this country isn't ready for any real change.

The ten thousand year old merry-go-round turns and turns and the same music plays over and over and nothing changes, Betmo.

It's like perpetual motion that goes nowhere!

Cheers.

betmo I just heard the talking heads at MSM saying it meant people want real change. That is a quack! I do think that if anyone is going to bring change it is going to be Edwards and Obama. Let's see if there are going to be elections first and then if they are not stolen. There is going to be great consternation over those damn machines.

Once people can "really" think outside the box of the norm, then we may get somewhere.

Saying the same things over and over isn't really change! ; (

Although anyone who can complete a whole sentence without looking down at a piece of paper is some sort of change, that I'll grant.

Huckabee wins Iowa.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I will lose all faith in the common sense and intelligence of my fellow Americans if he wins the Republican nomination.

Why, of course there will be change. Like a new oval office carpet.

The real change is that Edwards has dared to speak the unspoken truth about corporate power. I'm afraid he will pay for that.

My question is...which of the candidates for "change" has a backbone that, once we put them in office, is NOT going to crack under the pressure of those people or groups tied to corporate entities?
