reminders

i wanted to remind folks that there are still folks out there fighting for peace. not that we all don't in our own ways, but i wanted to give you the links again of the other places i lurk. there is some fine writers i tap alongside of- so give them some time and love- and hopefully we will all find some peace in the solidarity.

Trying to make any impression on the world we live in is a daunting task, Betmo. I feel like throwing in the towel more and more often.

I, like you, feel the need to try to reverse the tide of human apathy and ignorance but, sometimes, it's all too hard, too depressing! Cheers.

hey b,

thanks for the comment. will email you tonight. the longer all the wars in the world rage on, the more I wonder if humans will ever learn anything. It is so much easier to not fight than to battle for years.

The Israeli-Arab conflict has been going for 50 years now although they seem to be entering a slightly more peaceful time.

I understant that people in some countries are oppressed and can understand why they want to fight, but that is not why we went into Iraq.

It saddens me to think that I may never see a peaceful world in my lifetime.
