are they kidding?

"After Bill Clinton tarnished the name of the president of the United States, the Republican Party restored hope, respect and morality within the Oval Office by bringing positive ideas and conservative values back to the White House," the Iowa Republican Party said in an e-mail sent to reporters. "Neither Iowans nor the rest of the country need to witness another Clinton catastrophe."

i mean really- please tell me that these 'people' are kidding. i am stunned and virtually speechless (ok i am lying on both counts). i really think that if there are that many people in this country that believe this- we need to split this country up. yes, that's right. the sane people need to secede from the obviously delusional. bill clinton fucked an intern people. george bush fucked up the united states, the middle east and parts of africa- and singlehandedly reignited the cold war. which is the bigger stain here?

Bush the worst President Ever!

Ever since 1948, when Harvard professor Arthur Schlesinger Sr. asked 55 historians to rank U.S. presidents on a scale from "great" to "failure," such polls have been a favorite pastime.

Bush has sought to strip people accused of crimes of rights that date as far back as the Magna Carta in Anglo-American jurisprudence: trial by impartial jury, access to lawyers and knowledge of evidence against them. In dozens of statements when signing legislation, he has asserted the right to ignore the parts of laws with which he disagrees. His administration has adopted policies regarding the treatment of prisoners of war that have disgraced the nation and alienated virtually the entire world.

Historians don't like to predict the future. It is impossible to say with certainty how Bush will be ranked in, say, 2050. But somehow, in his first six years in office he has managed to combine the lapses of leadership, misguided policies and abuse of power of his failed predecessors. I think there is no alternative but to rank him as the worst president in U.S. history.

We of this time–and our leaders in Congress, of both parties–must now live up to those standards which echo through our history: Pressure, negotiate, impeach–get you, Mr. Bush, and Mr. Cheney, two men who are now perilous to our Democracy, away from its helm.

For you, Mr. Bush, and for Mr. Cheney, there is a lesser task. You need merely achieve a very low threshold indeed. Display just that iota of patriotism which Richard Nixon showed, on August 9th, 1974.

Resign.

And give us someone–anyone–about whom all of us might yet be able to quote John Wayne, and say, “I didn’t vote for him, but he’s my president, and I hope he does a good job.”

"Clinton" is Reich Wingpeak for the devil. By now, half of those dumb bastards don't even remember what it is they hate. They just keep hating. It's a hallmark of theirs.

First, let me say I think Clinton's pardoning Marc Rich was wrong, but this is a great point:

"As for the 'Clinton pardoned Marc Rich' argument, the idea that all presidents pardon people they're connected to, well, hell, when over 3,500 soldiers have died because Marc Rich obstructed the investigation into who outed a secret CIA front company in order to preserve the lies that got those soldiers into a war, then we can talk."--Pam Spaulding

I guess I'm never going to be sold on Clinton either..it has nothing to do with him fucking an intern...(of course, to him, it wasn't actually fucking)...It has everything to do with NAFTA and the welfare reform bill...to me, those two issues are something the Democratic party needs to stand up to, and he failed on the job..He might as well be a Republican..I can see how Cindy Sheehan was dissillusioned with the Democratic party...doesn't compare with GWB's atrocities, but I'm just saying, Clinton sucked too...(sucking--no pun intended, Monica---I feel your pain, girl)...

Clinton's cock is to blame for all of the evils of the world. Just yesterday, I got a flat tire. I yelled out "Clinton's cock - why did you do this to me?!"
