Those that holler about their belief, are when you read about what is taught and what is practiced two very different things, usually going against the very thing they are taught.Any religion in the world.

Why am I not surprised?

Towards the end of the article it says, "The problems arising from Christian or Jewish extremism are not threatening to the world in the same way as Muslim extremism is."

This is a bigoted statement in itself. ALL extremism is threatening to the world, as it fuels counter-extremism.

I'm starting to feel sorry for those with deep religious convictions.

this is why it's best not to get involved in war that is based on religion and religious extremism. And how did religion and violence become so closely tied? Too many people have lost the ture point of religion.

it is my contention that there is no point to religion. there is no more room in the world for religion. we don't need it- it has always been a vehicle for violence and greed- and it has always caused innocents to suffer.
