will the old line listen to the young whippersnappers? and i found it highly ironic that after a post condemning 'she who does not deserve a name'- there was an add for her to be a ringtone. :) perhaps there is a chance for civility after all.
I hold that it is Ann Coulter's right to say anything she wants even if it is ugly like the party she supports. We can rail against it and try to knock out her financial support system, but she has a right to free speech.
They will just go right back to the old ways. Every six months, she does something to anger the masses and they go right back to supporting her. The faux anger of the right will soon pass. Last year, she used "rag head" and their faux suprised soon abated.
I'm with Peacechick 100%. If they don't like her, shoot her or something.:) AC is the shock jock for Evangelicalism. She pukes, and along they come, cleaning up and "oh, we're so sorry." Good cop, bad cop, if you will.
And thank God I haven't had a ringtone named after me!! That is as low as a human can sink....unless they're President.
i am not saying to take her off air. if she wants to write a book- let her write it. she cancelled her appearance on cnn today and my thought is this- if you don't espouse her views- you shouldn't have to give her an invite. advertisers have begun to pull ads for some of these hate spewers and i really think some of them walk a fine line between free speech and what could be construed as hate crime. i say- if she wants to go on air and the ads pull out- that's their right too. if no publisher will take her books- let her try to do it on her own. she has that right. just like folks have the right not to listen to her or her ilk. i found it ironic that the right wing testosterone driven groupies that have kept her the right's darling for so long- have started turning against her. must be they stopped smoking pot long enough to see that she isn't really all that hot- she just has a foul mouth.
