sunday morning update

thought i should- it has been awhile. mom is hanging in there. the weather here is not condusive to good health for her- damp and unseasonably warm. she is tired much of the time and she has trouble remembering short term- but she is still hanging in there. she still gathers intel for me by listening and watching stuff i won't :) she worries about me and my blog- and the governmental watching and secret prisons and stuff. she understands the need to fight the regime- i think that she wishes that i wasn't one of them doing the fighting. but- she keeps giving me intel :) we had a nice holiday season and are all glad it is over- now to the business of life.

I am not enjoying this weather either. I need my cold, snuggle up and read a book, weather. Soup and stew weather. No school today weather. Yesterday I had to open the windows. The best to your mom.

So that's your secret! You have your mom helping. I wish I could talk my 81 year old grandmother into doing a post on Bush!! It would curl your toes if I did it and left it unedited! Does the words "expletive deleted" mean anything to you? I know you have seen me rant before and drop the f-bomb like a Marine pro, but grandma on Bush is nothing nice! You would not believe it was a 81 year old woman saying it!

Hope your Mom continues to do well, you're both in my thoughts daily.

Tell her it's only for 743 more days...

betmo, I wish your mother well.

I'd also love to read a post from her, I think it's great that she keeps watch for you.

Donnie, I'd love to read one from your gmother too, expletives and all!

I hope I always keep my head in life, that I don't give up and tune out as I get older.

That's a mom's job - worry and support. Sounds like yours is hanging in there with the duties. I agree - this hot weather is ridiculous.

Best to your mom. I am reading truthout and ... the news isn't all bad, insofar as there's some real opposition to the Bush Administration activities. But: have you all seen that Israel is ready to strike at Iran? It would be a mistake!!! They think they can take out the nuclear stuff in one surgical-type strike and be done with it. I say NOOOO!

Bet:

I know you've talked about Keith Oberman before, but you got his pic in the right hand corner of your blog with the words "American Hero." Can you explain why again? It just escapes me...

Just don't get it...

keith olbermann has the courage to speak out when no one else- in the media or not- has. he is critical of the way things are being handled by the current regime in the white house and was critical of the last congress as well. he has a way of putting things that is straightforward- and he doesn't mince words. take a look back at my post from a few days ago- and you will see exactly what i mean.

mom doesn't have internet access- which is a blessing and a curse- i am sure. :) she tells me what she would like to see on the blogs- and i do my best to accomodate her. :)

Gathering you "intel" may well be one of the things that keeps Mom going.:) My best wishes for and to her.

Betmo,

I'm not too far (about an hour) so I know about the weird weather. Its VERY weird.

I wish you well, and am glad your mom looks out for you. Who knows what our government can or will do since they apparently dont follow laws!

Hang in there.

Betmo... You know we pray for your Mom, and you, and all you hold dear.

You do great work to keep people in the know about issues. Sounds like Mom has an agenda as well.

Peace in your heart my friend.

F*#K*^$ Government.

All they're going to find out is:

We're all smarter and care about "Life" in general, more than they do!

The Bastards!

Good for you with your Mom also!

Bet:

Thanks for explaining the Keith Oberman hero deal.

Wish your mom could tape something and then you could either write it up or put it as a recording on your blog...I think she sounds like a wise woman.

and so do you....
