well, the weather here on the other side of the state has been dismal. wet, rainy and the leaves are almost gone. don't know what the utica area looks like, tp- i have never been up that way. :) as for debate- it wasn't much of one. your commenter simply proved my point that he views anyone left of his position to be a liberal (as if that is a bad thing) and the only issue he reponds to is the imagined threat of imminent terrorist threats. i am not saying that these folks shouldn't be considered dangerous. i am saying they shouldn't be considered as being less than because they are muslim and not christian. no- i don't think preemptive killing is the way to go. defensive killing is a different colored horse. that isn't what these folks endorse. i'll not respond to the other points- i will save that for a post. my thought is nothing has changed- both extreme sides dislike each other and i consider your commenter to be on the right fringe.

That is a pretty picture. I like Hillary also. Latest word says she might not run for pres. though because she cannot attract enough mods.

As much as I would like to see her in the White House, and as much as I do not want the end to justify who runs, the future of our country, the Supreme Court, and our relationship with the rest of the world rests to a great extent on who wins in '08.

Tough call.

Now THAT....is simply some kind of righteously freakin' downright beautiful!!

"...she cannot attract enough mods."

With 'mods' being moderates??? But she's a moderate herself!

One of my colleagues has an interesting thought: Hillary in '08 with BILL as her running mate!

prof- i know hillary a bit- not personally mind you and she is a more conservative dem. moderate and to the right a touch. she has to be because her constituents in upstate new york tend to be republican. i think she needs to stay in the senate where she is the most help- and we need to run barack obama and patrick leahy- but that is my own personal integrity bias. i doubt leahy would win.

yes, mods = moderates. I prolly shouldn't have 'breviated that.

I do not think Hill. is all that liberal either, but I the GOP tries to paint her that way and too many people believe it.

Like I said, I would love to see her win, but I agree with b. She should stay in the Senate.

Such a beautiful photo. So serene. Thanks for your kind words btw. I appreciate them. Was so sorry to hear about your mother. I envy your relationship with her. You and yours are in my thoughts. You're one of the good guys (or gals) and I appreciate everything I learn from you. (((hugs)))
