i know it isn't thursday but

2 organizations i found over at the future was yesterday:

impeach for change

impeach for peace

if pelosi and dean have no stomach for it- we will have to take matters into our own hands. we can ride the momentum of this week and make positive change. the far right still hates us- and the far left still doesn't agree with us- but we can do it together.

Change is coming. Take heart, it really is on the way.

For the past six years I have been reminding frustrated left leaning bloggers; history shows us, right before every great progressive breakthrough, there is always a short but sharp reversion to fundamentalist principles. People fear change. They need to take that step back before they can move forward.

They have done that, we have survived it, and now, we can all move on.

Its not really Georges fault. The poor fellow is just a pawn in the great game of history.

The Democrats have no impeachment plans. When the new report on Iraq comes out, and with Rumsfeld gone, expect stronger support to Iraq adventures.

The Democrats are committed to not losing in Iraq. That means staying there.

I would counterpose impeachment, with an outnow position.

All I my best friends agree with you.

Sometimes reprimanding a child (President) doesn't make the family (Washington) a happy place. But you still have to do it so the child and his siblings (future presidents) learns about accountability. Holding government officials accountable for their actions strengthens our democracy. Letting lawlessness stand weakens it. Impeachment is horribly UNDERUSED. Which is part of why there's so much corruption at the top. They must learn to fear it.

People think things are better because we improved the make-up of our law-making body (Congress). But the whole point is that Bush is BREAKING LAWS. So, it doesn't matter how many laws they pass if they don't serve ther OVERSIGHT duty (they swore to defend the Constitution) by impeaching.

Not to mention, Bush can still do a lot of damage to our troops, Iraq, Iran and our Supreme Court.
Impeach Bush Yourself...
