holy shit!

i am beginning to think that there may indeed be divine intervention:

rumsfeld resigns

dems take the house

dems tie the senate

voters reject gay marriage and abortion bans

and rumor has it(from limbaugh himself) that bolton's head will roll next. that doesn't mean that we can rest on our laurels- we have to go with the momentum and really keep the pressure on. we are not out of the woods yet- we still have to fight for the next election. at least now, we have support.

Amazing!

This should have happened four years ago, but this time they didn't steal the vote.

Way, waaaaay too late, but not too late to save a few lives. The man was simply incompetent.

We're good to go now. The Virginia count will hold. The Senate belongs to the Dems.

And yes- Bolton is next to go. He isn't even confirmed yet.

What I love about America is its amazing ability to auto-correct itself when it goes too far to port or staboard.... Truth be told, Democrats or Republicans don't own squat... the massive middle of the swing/independent voters will be the target of elections from here on...

What a great day, not perfect, but we are making progress. I was beginning to wonder if we would or if I should be looking at places to move along with you, b.

I agree with TP, the middle-independents have finally awoken. Maybe 2008 will come down to more than just OH, FL, and PA.

Congratulations.
A turn in the right direction, but what with the economy, Iraq and Israel, there is work that remains to be done.

perhaps now i can settle down and go back to the happy moderate i usually am. :) the moderates and independents can't slip back into a false sense of job well done. they have to be vigilant.

b, I had no idea you were a closet moderate!!! But the more I think about it, you may just be the face of the new American moderate.
