I went there once to register and couldn't get the deal to work. Maybe I'll try it again.

Cool!! I liked a lot of what I saw there. A lot of peace is built on empathy- which is the ability to feel the pain and the joy of others. Without this empathy, we are like robots on auto-pilot...

I think I'm going to link to the Peace train for tomorrow's black out. I do enjoy that place, although I still get lost trying to work the site. I'm a slow learner sometimes. Hope we get a lot more riders on that train.

Replying to bitmos's post on my blog...

Actually bitmo the entire New Testament is about love and peace - read every one of Jesus' words.

Christians have manipulated the old "fire and brimstone" Old Testament for their purposes...you're bang on there.

As my Muslim friends can tell you, people can manipulate anything if it can serve their purposes, but I believe the Koran's overall message, like the Bible's New Testament, is about peace.

if there's room on the PeaceTrain for me and my PlayStation, I'd like to join as well.

The Peace Train is a great spot. I will try my hardest to support it by reading and the occasional comment. I have registered and am on the list of members.

I'd like to also say I am a member of Veterans for Peace, Chapter 27, Minneapolis, MN and a member of Vietnam Veterans against the war.

Both Mrs Spadoman and I are members of Code Pink and attend many functions, rallies etc in the Saint Paul, Minneapolis area. Mrs also has been to Camp Casey and plans on another rally at the School of the Americas in November.

Not trying to brag, but letting other like minded individuals know where we stand as we are proud of our convictions.

May Peace prevail on Earth
