thanks to all

it occurred to me while reading all of the comments on the 'heathen' post that there were quite a few in my circle who put themselves on the line to post their thoughts. while i realize that the post didn't change anything to any of us who posted, i think that it is valuable to be able to exchange ideas. i may never understand why anyone feels compelled to take a 'leap of faith' but at least i know that there are a few out there who are willing to not jam it down my throat. there was a lot of information there- and don't worry- i am sure i will post on the subject again as things come up. i am not a heathen for nothin' :)

Line? There was a Steenkin' LINE? Now you tell me!:)

There are times when one really is required to look straight at the sacred cow and ask "why", for our own survival. You do it very well. As long as it's truly "in you", it will resonate. As Publius noted so well, "faith is a complicated thing." And it sure as HELL is not just hooked to one "train!"

Faith is a complicated thing - that is why each individual should be able to have their own opinion on the subject without coercion from society or government.

And Betmo - thank you for being so honest on the topic. You have every right to be a "heathen!"
