WOW, my very own link. Thank you betmo. This is the Ironic thing about it. The mail that was sent, was sent by my gay sister's partner. Sooo...where is all this gonna ruin our country talk now.

Funny, but gay people sending patriotic mail, does seem to go against what the fundies say. So yes, it does speak for itself. A Former Marine and Republican is fighting for peace, and with a mail from someone that is gay.

Now that my friend is irony!! I bet those idiots never expected people like me to turn on them and denounce the whole party, and fight for what is right.

the thing of it is- it takes folks like you to do it because they don't listen to folks like me. of course, i would hazard a guess that many of these folks don't listen to anyone- scientists, veterens, clergy- as i sit here sweating my ass off in new york state- that i talked about as being so green and beautiful- i find it ironic that these folks doubt global warming :)

Wow. That was beautiful. I have to admire Donnie for his position. We need many more like that.

Love it. I got this e-mail from a very close friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. It makes me think of my grandfather, who served in WWII. When he came home from service, he refused to talk about what happened. It is always a stark reminder of what he went through for the freedom of people he didn't even know - he was at the Battle of Normandy.

If you look at the very first post made on my blog, you will find out how The Katrinacrat came about. Someone did not expect the outcome that came of that fateful day.

I became the GOP's worst nightmare come true. I revolted and swore to get some payback. I declared war on the republican leadership, and their future bids for office.

As I watched my people suffer down here, I made a vow to annoy their campaigns. One for every death that did not need to happen, and one for every casket of our ancestors that floated away from lack of hurricane protection. Doing it like a former republican, and a Marine knows how. Someone angered the wrong Marine.

I think we crave order in our life. You want to present your case in court, and want all the rights, afforded you, for your day in court. You want to expect, that the right to privacy, is an ideal of this nation. You want laws applied evenly. The society breakdown, is starting from above.
