aww they're adorable. I have a dog myself. He's cute as hell, but a pain to take care of. well, he doesn't have the hairball problem...but he sheds a little and he's on too many medications. Still cute tho. :)
I love cats! You are so cool, I shoulda figured you had a couple yourself. I am sometimes wary of those who say they do not like cats. I just have one who has special needs and she gets sick a lot also. I have started using the Science Diet Z/D. It is for allergic kitties and has helped mine immensely. It won't help hairballs, but it will help allergic digestive problems. Kind of odd you would do this post today cause I took my kitty to the vet for the first time in a while. Hope the kitties feel better.
I can't imagine why your Husband thinks you've slipped a gear!) I own three myself, one of which is in my "picture" space. He's a 20lb plus monster, and he's "Daddy's Cat" only. That pic was taken out of a video when he yawned. My God, he looked like a jungle beast IRL!:) He'll plunk his ass down beside my right leg every time when I'm in here, and if he doesn't get the attention he thinks he's due, he'll scratch my right leg. It's like leather now:)
Awesome haiku. I know nothing of poetry, but know enough of cats to appreciate yours nevertheless. Now if you could just incorporate that great hairball sound they make, then you're in bidness.
Speaking of cats, I viewed an online news story form ABC on a kitten with two faces, and the correspondent was making tasteless jokes. how crude can they get? I already emailed ABC to complain. I can send you the link if you want to as well. I was appalled at the insensitivity
no, of course not. I found the ABC segment cruel because the correspoondent was making fun of a cat that desperately needs medical attention. He mentions that fact in the piece, and then he says, "maybe she should call Dr. Doolittle." What a jerk! That was not all he said, either.

I like your haiku and I totally sympathize with your problems..I have 8 housecats who practice the fine art of bringing up a furball..
Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

It is unfair posting about cats. What next? Children.
To me cats are like anarchists. I like dogs better, more predictable.
Haikus? Is this similar to my week-end fluffer?
Seriously, I love your haiku..and your cats...
Haiku away...
ummm...ick!
LOL
Lovely haiku. I just read it, hilarious. Burst out laughing.
Cats are haiku just by being cats - you summed it up very well with your human version. Thanks.

Ahead cute factor 10! what a lovely pair of cats. Hairballs are just part of the package as I know with our four!

shawn- are you trying to tell me my haiku was cruel and unusual? :)
