who's really in charge?

my mother and i talk about world and national politics daily. she is interested in history and i am interested in saving this country. it would appear that both are in jeopardy. we have been talking quite a bit about the current political parties and their subsets- repub/conservative; dem/liberal, etc. and that led us to talk about key people in american history and politics. quite naturally, that led us to talk about freemasonry- as some of the founders of this nation belonged to that fraternity. that discussion, of course, led us to talk about skull and bones- as 3 of our recent presidents have belonged to this fraternity. is our country being run by these powerful, but supposedly benevelent organizations?

what recently piqued our interest were the news stories about the 'bilderberg'group . great coverage by jade over at spark of freedom. the bilderberg group is shrouded in secrecy and no one but invitees and members know exactly what is discussed. it is speculated that global policies may be discusse there- but again, no one but insiders know for sure. what is known is are some of the attendees over the years- and that, for me, confirmed that something global was happening. when you have representation from the banking/financial world; the media; politicians, etc- there has to be some policy discussions going on.

what i found interesting was this- only europeans and north americans are represented in the bilderberg group. huh. just so you know- cheney, rumsfeld, wolfowitz, blair, clinton- have all attended bilderberg. rummy and wolfie several times.

This post reminds me of the movie Eyes Wide Shut. I wonder if your clothes come off, when you join a group like The Masons.

The last "poor" president we had was Abe Lincoln. Money, because of our system, creates power. Power, as you might have heard, corrupts.

It all stands to reason. Why else would a multi-millionaire want to get a job that pays 100 grand?

The power of the wealthy is unbelievable compared to the voice of "the people" who are governed.

limbaugh said last week that the conservatives are going to re-write history to make abe a landowner who did have money. after all, limbaugh said, abe probably sat under a shade tree to read on his acreage- instead of working hard and studying by lamplight to get through school and stuff. i am not making this up- i think it was his last thursday's radio show.
