weights and measures

i have been debating whether or not i should delete this blog. for all intents and purposes, i don't write anything of any merit over here anymore and i have been debating whether i should chuck it all- all 2500+ posts worth or whether i should just delete some and leave others- or leave well enough alone. any thoughts?

Be like me and leave it alone. You never know when you might want to raise hell over something.

God Bless.

I'm having similar thoughts to yours, Betmo. It all seems a waste of time. The world is never going to change, humans being what they are!

All that work. For what?

I am in the middle of archiving my posts - "for posterity." I will leave some of my blogs up and active; others will have a final post directing readers to my active sites. I have yet to decide which those will be, because I haven't narrowed what I think I have to say in 2010, and why I want to put it out there. Understanding my "why," my writing, motivation will be key.
I have read your work for a long time, an have many others. You have generously and authentically allowed us to get to know you. You're well worth knowing, my friend. There is absolutely no harm in leaving "Life's Journey" in place. Think about the title alone, as a hint for what to do.
Peace and Namaste.

I go through my dry spells and thought about ditching it as well. But you know what? No harm in leaving it be. Even if you have something to share only once in a while, then it's worth it. You've given me some good links to scope out and I always appreciate your eye on things.

Don't delete. You wrote it. You might want to return to some of it someday.

I stopped posting on mine in January when I started graduate school, but the truth is that I had been running on low steam for awhile. I was mostly doing quick hits, videos, and links to other blogs.

But even though I stopped blogging for the foreseeable future, I don't think I could bear to delete it from the 'tubes. I spent five years tending that blog, and the thought of it just not being there at all would be difficult. I suspect that if you deleted your blog, you would regret it in short order.

It's okay to move on to other things. You don't have to obliterate what you leave behind.
