this speaks for itself

thanks to tengrain at mock, paper, scissors

'However, there are some trends to be seen in the data. Those states that do consume the most porn tend to be more conservative and religious than states with lower levels of consumption, the study finds.'

hypocrisy in motion.... and they wonder why folks are running away from the right wing in droves.

Hypocrites, be they religous or secular (yes, there are many there too) learn from the examples set by their leaders. Everything from pornography to white-color crime to the total disregard for the rule of law, stems from this. It's the textbook example of, 'What's good for the goose, is good for the gander'. If my pastor, boss, congressman, senator, or President is doing it, it has to be alright, huh? These are the brightest and best people in society, right? *sigh*
A poorly educated populace is easily led into bondage and subjugation.

Thanks for the link, Betmo.

I think most people know by now I am sex-positive, in all its forms. I don't have a problem with two (or more) consenting adults doing anything in the privacy of their own home(s).

But I do have a problem with people telling me -- or anyone else -- what they can and cannot do.

And, to finish up, so to speak, when the scolders are the ones who are burnin' up the telegraph wires downloading porn (doin' research?), it is enough to make my blood boil.

Spread this story far and wide, folks. It really bears repeating.

Regards,

Tengrain

This is where I'd make the bad joke about illiterate southerners needing some distraction from their cousins.

But I won't because hypocrites are everywhere.
