LOL

What's the Pagan motto?
"Do as you will, but do no harm..."

Which makes me wonder, if the most successful religions are the most violent ones.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768728.post-1166359927221093632006-12-17T07:52:00.000-05:002006-12-17T07:52:00.000-05:00I recently heard a celebrity talking about her no-...I recently heard a celebrity talking about her no-news policy. She shuts out current events and politics because "it's all bad things." On one hand, I empathize--the news is always depressing. On the other, we relinquish our ability to make a difference in a world in great need of rebellion. To me, ignorance is just not bliss.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768728.post-1166337305169381162006-12-17T01:35:00.000-05:002006-12-17T01:35:00.000-05:00I just love it when Betmo gets riled up!!!! As less and less people go to church, more of those who still do will keep on squawking.

As other people have said, tolerance is the key. If religious people were more tolerant, then their numbers might not be declining so quickly. But I don't wanna get up early on Sundays just so someone can tell me I am going to you know where.

Happy Holidays, b!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768728.post-1166329124793423762006-12-16T23:18:00.000-05:002006-12-16T23:18:00.000-05:00leroy- i suppose. but i like things succinct :)leroy- i suppose. but i like things succinct :)billiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16206096509976316141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768728.post-1166324133501378952006-12-16T21:55:00.000-05:002006-12-16T21:55:00.000-05:00"let's pledge to make 2007 a year of integrity and..."let's pledge to make 2007 a year of integrity and honesty and courage to do what is fair and what is right. even if it isn't popular."
I like this very much. This caught my attention, I suppose, because I have seen it over and over and wondered how it holds up. I do realize that our popular view of history is that it is a timeline, and a matter of time more than space or place. At any rate, wouldn't it be more useful to say that "One's life is expressed in the practical world in a complex of journeys toward tangible destinations?"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768728.post-1166319618200454402006-12-16T20:40:00.000-05:002006-12-16T20:40:00.000-05:00It is a time to move foward together with a shared...It is a time to move foward together with a shared vision of our children's future... eww, I sounded like a politican.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768728.post-1166307707095511542006-12-16T17:21:00.000-05:002006-12-16T17:21:00.000-05:00right on... :)right on... :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23768728.post-1166291048762094402006-12-16T12:44:00.000-05:002006-12-16T12:44:00.000-05:00Absolutely Betmo!
