I hear you. I wish I could back up on Lake Superior, where the water and woods offer instant relief to the heat and misery of life in the sub-tropics. (The lower midwest)
i hate the weather and the constant noise assault from people and their children and animals and automobiles...the weather is hot and humid or of late- it rains every week so you can't grow a damned thing...i grew up in the country in a time when folks stayed home in the evenings and you could hear the crickets and see the lightening bugs...
today, you have to be driving your souped up hot car with tinted windows and a loud muffler or radio or you have to make a nuisance of yourself walking your dog or letting all of the shrieking children in the neighborhood crash at your place...ugh!
