spring is lingering...

unusual weather for us here in upstate new york- one day it's 85 degrees and the next it's more seasonable. i am not fooled though :) i am going to try to take some pics of my flats- i have beans, squash, tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, peas and the like starting in the window- not to mention an amaryllis that thinks it's jack's beanstalk :) i started a few new crochet projects and updated a bit over at the other blog- i need to make time to update etsy and whatnot- so, between that and sneezing (pollen counts are high here- it even said so in the paper) and swollen glands- i'll be around :)

Yeah Garden time! Plant the peas and wait until the lilacs come out for the rest. I planted peas potatoes and Swiss chard. It was 90 here last week and it fell back to the 40's, early 20s at night.

i haven't planted anything- and i don't intend to until at least the second week in may- or after. i am shooting for memorial weekend. the weather has been too cool lately in the summers for me to get fooled again- i started some stuff early to give it a good root start before transplanting- i can't wait!!!

Right! It is too early for late stuff but my peas and onions are up and the Swiss chard and potatoes will spring any day.
