privacy- not so much

the only way to even remotely be private these days- go off grid and hide without any modern trappings. and even then, someone can find you. scary but true. i gave up a long time ago because i didn't want a nervous breakdown thinking about it.

I heard some anecdote once, that there is only one place in the US where you can go where its completely dark (ie. no artificial light 360 degrees at night) and thats death valley.

You can escape - but you will prbably die there.

I gave up worrying about my privacy years ago. Anyone who wants to know badly enough can find out what you've been up to and where you've been, at any given time. As I've asked people before when this subject has come up: "Do you use a debit card, a medical card, a credit card, a social insurance number, a drivers license?".

I agree, there's no point in worrying about it, so I taunt the powers that be by riding a very fine line and not trying to hide while doing it.:)
