this week is going to be rough going. i have to clean and plant so, i won't be spending much time online. i do check my emails and comments regularly- but posting- well, i'll sum up the week so far:
swine flu- overhyped by media as a fear mongering tactic
pakistan is unfortunate and the latest poll finds that obama is liked but his policies are not.
rightwing- batshit crazy and getting worse. i am not sure we can do anything but brace for impact.

Share your opinion about swine flu. There are seven confirmed deaths in Mexico. Thanks to SF, the Mexicans have probably economized dozens of traffic casualties.
Normal flue - the one that occurs every year - takes about 500 000 lives worldwide per annum. Nobody is even mentioning it.
If planting means gardening, don't loose a second.
