why is this so difficult for the republican heads?

attention all of you goppers who are frustrated and bewildered at why your candidates are tanking- i have the reason why...

don't no one like you.

no, seriously. after 8 years of republican monopoly over 3 branches of government and most state and local municipalites, people want a complete change. hence- they abysmal republican poll numbers, the lack of volunteers and scarcity of monies. america has lived through republican rule since 1994 when newt and tom took over the legislative branch and set about neutering the executive branch. bushco came in a imposed a monopoly on government and then came the secrecy, lies, corruption, lack of accountability and complete disdain and contempt for the american people.

now, rational folks have had enough. we don't want more michele bachmans, karl roves, dick cheneys, and no more pedophiles for christ's sake! it doesn't matter whether your party affiliation is republican, democrat, independent or whatever- if you are a sentient being- you are voting against the republican party. in droves; en masse. 80% to 20%. john mccain doesn't have any fresh ideas. i mean how can he call himself a reformer when his own campaign violates the mccain-feingold law in regards to buying sarah palin makeup and beautification?

ron paul is out there decrying that the republican brand is tarnished. whatever the hell that means. you aren't supposed to sell us a bill of goods asswipe- you are supposed to represent our best interests. guess that's why the republicans- whether running on the repub ticket or not- are not being given the benefit of the doubt. american wants to say good bye and good riddance to bad rubbish. and on a personal note, i cannot wait until hasslebitch's contract runs out on the view.

In 2007, they could have shown people that they "got it" by elevating reformers to the top.

Instead, they sent "Junket John" Boehner to the leadership of the House, and that porker "Mooch" McConnell to the Senate.

There was really nothing else to talk about after this. Nothing at all.

"after 8 years of republican monopoly over 3 branches of government and most state and local municipalites, (SOME) people want a complete change" (Insertion of "SOME" mine).
Hard as it is to believe, there are people that think things are humming along just hunky dory, my perennial nemesis from Michigan, Vic Landrum being one. He's a "short trader" on the stock market. He only makes money when people suffer greatly. It's mostly the money people that like this environment, for the tables have been tipped in favor of them being protected. And as you know, money talks......

"if you are a sentient being"
IF you are. There are people, and more than a few, that will vote Repulsive simply because Palin has a nice ass, and we both know it. The voter pools of both parties need purging badly, but done with the Peter Principle as the sole guideline.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian. That's a Republican minus half the normal Republican brain. FUCK Ron Paul!

"i cannot wait until hasslebitch's contract runs out on the view."
I can't wait until the view runs out. Drops dead. Turns into a pile of shit. Oh, but wait! They already ARE that!:P

He walks off grumbling as he tries to gum down his Geritol..
Fuckin' Chicken Coop on live TV!....(

dan'l sweetie :) how about many people want change? there are a whole lot more folks in this country who want to throw out the goppers than keep them in. we can chalk it up to temporary insanity on their part- and i do agree with you for the most part- but i just think that this is the only tangible thing most folks know how to do at this point. vote. it's just about the least you can do- but perhaps people have fallen in love with the idea of change and hope- and it will spur them on to actually fighting for change within their communities and elsewhere. we can hope :)

Ron Paul always seems to have the right take! I think that many are sick of McCain's lies, negativity and divisiveness. I also think Palin's career is over and as people wake up to that Neanderthal they are turning again against McCain!

Hey, you mean Obama has a chance? What about the flawed voting machines? What about your highest Court? How about if George nukes Iran? What about.....

I don't know that I'll survive for another week what with the financial crisis, the election and all.
