i admit i am cynical

but do you have to be to see that the rethuglican party should just go away- along with half of the democratic party? do you have to be cynical to see that the rethugs are a party built on hypocrisy and double dealing? i mean who is palin kidding with her middle class, mayor of a small town bullshit when she drops $150,000 on clothing for the campaign? and the dems aren't any better. when i see any of the top tier congress critters get up to a podium and pretend to talk to the american people about how they are fighting for their rights- i want to bitch slap the people who voted for them in the first place. you have wexler and kucinich and a handful of other dems actually putting their reputations and careers on the line attempting to hold the foxes in the hen house accountable- and then you have pelosi and reid. sigh.

the really sad part is- they don't realize that so very many people are angry enough to vote their dumb asses out along with the rethugs. if i was pelosi, i might be a wee nervous. i hope the voters in her district vote her out- i am begging them too. right now, that's the only weapon that most americans are interested in fighting with. in time, that may change.

If you're a cynic then I'm not sure what that makes most of us Canadians. On average, we can't stand most of our politicians and don't trust any of them.:) That's why we end up going to the polls every 18-24 months. It's a pain in the ass but by my reasoning, at least the bastards don't get too comfortable.

I am a cynic. You are right to be cynical. None of these politicians, on any side, tell the truth.
Voting is limiting terms. Not enough people vote. The ones that do are entrenched on either side, and only care about their issues, not the general welfare of all the people.

Gee Betmo!
You covered so much in that short post! What to say! That Neanderthal isn't paying for those clothes Republicans are. That should piss them off!
You are not cynical you just see the lie we are living and are powerless to stop! McPaling is scheduled to continue Bush's mess and making this a landslide for Obama so it can not be stolen is what we have to hope for!

I hope they vote Pelosi's sorry self out of office also. What a tremendous disappointment she has been. Go Cindy Sheehan!

Well, I hope McCain supporters are happy with how their contributions were spent.

And it looks like we all agree about Pelosi...

"The Truth Will Set You Free" is a biblical phrase, and we know how much of that bullshit is true..(: The truth is, telling the truth will more often get you ostracized and in deep shit! I have a smidgen of experience in said area!:)

There are so many factions in America that only have vested self interests, that it's extremely difficult to find anybody who really wants to fix America, "unless that fix goes my way." We don't need to edit the constitution, we just need the damn thing in place, period!

Just another cynic. Carry On!:)
