there aren't many things i agree with him on- religion and science are two that i do. and when he is right on- he is right on...

Ok, my personal opinion of Hitch is this:
He is a gigantic bag o' batshit. He is a drunkard and a mean drunk at that. He has little respect for anyone other than himself.
I really could give a shit what Hitch thinks of anything. He couldn't handle the audience on Bill Maher one night and went nuts...thats Hitch for moi. ;)
well, i suppose that could be said of any of the talking heads that abound in print and on the tube. :) at least he did do a stint on the ground in places that were 'real'- battlegrounds, etc. at any rate, i agree with you on most points- but he is an excellent, albeit, pompous writer with a snooty vocabulary that is music to this lefty elitist's ears :)
His views on religion are not to my liking and how he described Michelle Obama whom I really respect were outrageous.
But that is just Hitch..he hates everyone but himself. ;)
Everything starts and ends with "Jesus." He takes care of all. Thus there is no need for those other wasteful and sinful things.
