i am sure that there is an electorate somewhere here in america's lower 48 that rivals alaskan voters in stupidity- but it would be close. now, that's not fair, alaska's electorate has been bribed for years into keeping the likes of ted stevens and other corrupt 'public servants' (er, sarah palin) in office for decades. from the 'sharing the wealth' of oil profits, to being
"one of the greatest per-capita beneficiaries of federal funding among the 50 states. A major portion of those U.S. taxpayer dollars in recent years has come from large infusions of homeland security grants and appropriations handed out to the state since the 9/11 attacks."
i can see why the secessionist movement is so popular.
