they should read the blogs more often

then they wouldn't be quite so shocked. or even the freakin' newspapers who have been carrying the financial doom and gloom stories all summer. get a freakin' clue.

congress stunned by economic meltdown

not to mention i have been talking about the economic downturns since forever. unfortunately, nobody listened to me. i mean i don't have a fancy economic degree or nothin' and my name isn't bernanke.

I saw that too, and at first, thought it was just bullshit for the masses. But later, as I read more of what the clueless fuckers had to say, I realized they were indeed that stupid.

This event evokes memories of 9/11, when we just had to have Bush's various war bills which few even read before rubber stamping them. But we just HAD to have them right now, or the world would self destruct. We know only too well what that hasty weekend cost us. My asshole starts burning when Congress starts working weekends "to fix the economy."

Congress can't wipe it's ass properly, in just one weekend!
