a nation of liars

america lies. it's really that simple. some of us lie more than others- but essentially, we are liars. whether it be foreign policy, torture, or 'no, you don't look fat in that dress' - we lie. perhaps if the truth tellers would grow a set and stop coddling the politically correct 'morans', we might get to the heart of the issues- but, alas, rachel maddow seems to be the only one.

anyhoo- my puzzlement doesn't come from the lies- i just assume that i can't trust anyone. no, my puzzlement is why are we going through with this farce of an election. there should be no doubt in any american's mind about whether they should vote for mccain. the answer is emphatically no! why on god's green earth would you even consider it? the entire economy is in the toilet- if you want to leave the wars and conflicts out of the equation. shouldn't that be enough to make folks run screaming away from the republican party and voting for anyone on the right? so, why then are the polls from the 'liberal' corporate media constantly telling us that obama and mccain are neck and neck? could so very many people actually be considering throwing what's left of this country into the world's garbage can?

or is it as simple as the polls lie? the media lies? now, whatever would give me an idea like that?

"i can't trust anyone"
Hey!:P

"why on god's green earth would you even consider it?"
For the same reason "God" tells some to drown their kids in the bathtub. There are those so brainwashed with the flavor of the moment trash, that they will willingly accept death before they will vote for anything but a Repulsive. "Literally!"

Lies? Of course we all lie! The bigger problem is figuring out how an entire generation was bred so G.D. stupid that they believe the lies!

Off Topic: Why is everything else "Progressive(s)", but it's still the "Liberal" Media? More lipstick for the pig, left wing fashion?

I know back to back posts are a blogging no no, and I know I'll have nightmares about it tonight.

But I gotta say this or I'll bust: "A Politically Correct Generation bred that stupid G.D. generation!!!"
There! I'm all gooder now!:P

B, I have to agree with you this time, yesterday I watched 60 minutes with supreme court Justice Scalia and that was enough to scare me for the next 2 generations. People of America need to wake up or were all in trouble.

depends on the blog :) you can post comments as much as you like- back to back or no :)

as far as the political correctness and brainwashing- it pisses me off to no end that it started so many decades before i was even thought of- and i get to reap the whirlwind. i try not to be bitter at the utter stupidity and shortsightedness of the boomers and my generation x- but the lack of common sense is staggering. the fact that so very many people won't think for themselves is mind boggling to me.

what was the point of my post again? :)

Lies (And the Lying Liars Who Tell Them): A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right by Al Franken
"Asking whether there is a liberal or conservative bias to the mainstream media is a little like asking whether al Qaeda uses too much oil."
Yes, sadly, they lie.
It's on a continuum from mild to severe.
